Some of the new wave of residential developments in Capri-Landmark can be seen along Dickson Avenue near the intersection with Dunn Street. These stylish buildings have a lower level reserved for stores, restaurants, and services, while the uppers (usually 2 to 3) have condo apartments with balconies and large windows for overlooking the area.

Capri Landmark Area & Community
The neighborhood of Capri-Landmark is located a short distance east of downtown Kelowna in British Columbia. The area is just south of Harvey Avenue (Highway 97), north of Springfield Avenue and inbetween Gordon Drive (to the west) and Spall Road (to the east).
The western portion of Capri-Landmark (west of Burtch Road) is mostly residential, except for the Capri Centre shopping mall. The eastern portion is dedicated mostly to commercial buildings and offices.
The area has recently been approved for a development plan which will see the redevelopment of the area over the next 20 years, including the addition of parks, improved walkability, and transport options.
The plan is to take advantage of the employment opportunities and fantastic central location of Capri-Landmark, improving its density and liveability with expanded residential, commercial, and transit facilities.
Capri-Landmark’s neighbours include South Pandosy to the south, Glenmore to the north, Downtown Kelowna and Central City to the west, and Dilworth Enterprise to the east.
Capri Landmark Amenities
Many of the attractions and amenities for residents of Capri-Landmark are commercial in nature. For a start, there is Capri Centre shopping mall in the northwest corner of the neighbourhood. This shopping area has a number of takeout restaurants, a grocery store, bowling alley, and Service Canada Centre.
A short distance past the eastern boundary of Capri-Landmark is the Orchard Park Shopping Centre. A large shopping complex and mall with a Mark’s, Sport Chek, Best Buy, Winners, Lee Valley, MEC, Save-On-Foods, and a cinema.
The eastern half of Capri-Landmark is home to many businesses, including a brewery, coffee roastery, hardware and building store, various auto-related services, and an ICBC Driver Licensing centre.
Other attractions around Capri Landmark include the Parkinson Recreation Park - a large sports complex with soccer fields, track and football field, tennis course, and more. To the south are some scenic orchards and farms, leading to Mission Creek Golf Club.
